Charcoal Silk
This BCBG silk coat needed a dramatic background. The coat reminds me of a delicate charcoal drawing even though it looks "steely" in these photos. My husband gave this Ralph Lauren belt to me for Christmas a couple of years ago, so with my trusty thrifted boots the look is complete.
coat--BCBG
belt--ralph lauren
blouse--ellen tracy
skirt--BCBG
boots--folage (thrifted)
tights--hue

Hi,
ReplyDeleteThat coat is so pretty, I really like how you added a different belt with the coat.
The backgrounds of the photos are beautiful.
Your artistic eye and the choice of backgrounds is simply awe-inspiring. You make the entire picture seem effortless and peaceful. Every blog post you do is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteStunning coat- dramatic yet subtle. I think you've got amazing taste in coats. Scratch that: I KNOW!

Loving you coat and great shots :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a divine coat!
ReplyDeleteHello! I adore your style! Our taste seems to be very similar. You look so beautiful in pics of your posts.
ReplyDeleteAnn - You DO have a marvelous coat collection. I am a great believer in having wonderful coats because even if the clothes underneath are a little "meh" one day, the coat assures that I am well dressed. Your posts inspire me to do a post on the necessity of buying beautiful coats. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI really really really want that jacket!!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a truly gorgeous coat! I've never seen anything quite like it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great coat! Very unique.
ReplyDeleteI have only recently discovered that I like everything BCBG! I found a great jacket at a consignment shop recently and scooped it up. You look fabulous in this coat! I've rarely seen a coat that it belt-able (if that's a word) but this one has such a trim shape that it's perfect! Adorable on you, Ann!
ReplyDeleteI really love BCBG, especially the jackets and coats. Some of the items are to youthful for me but the overall styling is great. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
DeleteHi Ann,
ReplyDeleteLove the coat but for me the belt steals the look. Stunning!
Regards
Wendy
hi Ann! Thanks for spying in on my 'Fashion' page on my site. You inspire me because you pose like a model. I pose like a dork wanting my 6th grade photo to look better than my uggy 5th grade photo. I have a lot to learn about putting myself out there. You have helped me. Hey, I really dig this coat; color, style and fit. NICE!
ReplyDeleteHello.....just found your blog whilst on Boutiquebootcamp. Love the boots in this post. I have a pair I bought from Marks and Spencer here in North Wales about 2 years ago. I bought them in black and browny grey. Was thinking of selling them....don't know why.....but having seen them on you has rekindled my love for them. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteTHANKS FOR THE LOVELY COMMENTS! I AM GLAD YOU LIKE THE POST ASWELL! MORE TO COME!
