Riana Handbag by Maxwell Scott

Finding the right handbag to accent my outfits has always been one of my favorite fashion  challenges. When Maxwell Scott sent me The Rianna Handbag it was easy to look through my coats and style a crisp and classic look to compliment this timeless bag.  Maxwell Scott not only creates a wide variety of handbags but also briefcases and travel bags for both men and women.

Another cold and snowy week. Dean and I are jumping in and out of the car to warm up while taking these pictures. In the middle of winter seeing pure color helps brighten the short days!

  1. Very nicely done, Ann! I love this handbag. Much more attractive than the Jimmy Lim from Target version that had infested so many blogs upon blogs. Thank you for a refreshing twist. Personally, I am not a purse person. I have discovered that as I contemplate my posts. I have about 4 purses to my name. That says a bunch right there, huh?

    1. Thanks, this bag is the real deal. I'm a handbag gal for sure. If you have 4 bags you like and work well for you that's good too. Have a wonderful holiday Renae!

  2. That bag is gorgeous! I love having many handbags, but I am not a change everyday kind of person. I really like this classic look that can be dressed up or down.

    1. Thanks Corelia, We have a Canon camera we use for our artwork and I thought " Why don't we use it for the blog?" The colors are so much more true with this camera. I think it makes a crisper image.

  7. Right down to the table with the snowflake design...a perfect tableau, and with you as it's shining star! Even the toggle closures on the purse and coat are identical! I can imagine how warm and cozy the car would feel after snapping photos in the cold!

  10. Oh my…I am seriously in love with that bag. It looks like a Kelly from Hermes, but not nearly as expensive. I love the colour too.

It must be fun to see you carting your table with you for the shoot. That blue background is gorgeous with the red.

Funny enough you don't look cold at all in the photos. I would have a red nose and face.

    bisous

  15. You are SO RIGHT about colour brightening up the winter. I am often confused as to why fashion palettes for winter fashions are all dark - this is the season we need colours most. You are brilliant in your bold colours. I couldn't tell a Maxwell Scott bag from a Kelly bag, but I know that I like this one.

    1. Oh thanks Rebecca. I went more blonde with this haircut and more texturized. I've had the same stylist for 15 years and followed her to 3 salons. I have some gray, blonde is a easy mix. I asked her if this is too blonde and she likes it too. Thanks for noticing the change!

The pictures are so gorgeous that I did not even see you have indeed coloured and cut your hair, till I spotted Deborah's comment. It looks great. Very admirable that you wore pumps in this cold.
