Folk Inspired / Take Three

Many years ago I saw this jacket at Bloomingdales and I paused to admire it.  I was at a thrift shop and there it was in my size for less than five dollars!

jacket--Grace Elements (thrifted)

  1. Greetings Ann!

Added your blog to my must see alt/personal fashion blog list.

I love your interest in combining pattens, textiles and colors. Photography is thoughtful and well done, too! Kudos to your work here.

Looking forward to seeing more in the coming months.

  2. Great jacket, Ann! Do you go to thrift shops regularly?
So far I only shoped at ebay but not in a thrift shop.
Your photos are always so special!

    1. I am selling some of my clothes at consignment and while I'm waiting for my bunch to be considered, I always find something. Here in the US the thrifting / consignment shops are growing fast. People spent alot on clothing during early 2000's, now they are selling and re buying. Right now I'm finding good designer items, especially in shoes. I need to look at Ebay again. I ordered a BCBG jacket I saw in the store once and it was a freud. I've stayed away from ebay because of that. I like to try it on and look closely.
