Charcoal Silk

This BCBG silk coat needed a dramatic background.  The coat reminds me of a delicate charcoal drawing even though it looks "steely" in these photos.  My husband gave this Ralph Lauren belt to me for Christmas a couple of years ago, so with my trusty thrifted boots the look is complete.

coat--BCBG
belt--ralph lauren
blouse--ellen tracy
skirt--BCBG
boots--folage (thrifted)
tights--hue

Your belt and thrifted boots are great. I always love the Dutchess of Cambridge's shoes and boots. She wears these frequently: http://bit.ly/10CWDxx

I've rarely seen a coat that it belt-able (if that's a word) but this one has such a trim shape that it's perfect! Adorable on you, Ann!

I pose like a dork wanting my 6th grade photo to look better than my uggy 5th grade photo. I have a lot to learn about putting myself out there. You have helped me. Hey, I really dig this coat; color, style and fit. NICE!

  48. Hello.....just found your blog whilst on Boutiquebootcamp. Love the boots in this post. I have a pair I bought from Marks and Spencer here in North Wales about 2 years ago. I bought them in black and browny grey. Was thinking of selling them....don't know why.....but having seen them on you has rekindled my love for them. Thanks.
